Our Member, Faisal Hawa and his friend Javid Hawa are proud to share their journey of creating a water-saving tap that has become a movement for change. Inspired by the wasteful water usage observed in places of worship, they have developed a cost-effective tap that reduces water flow without compromising functionality.

 

Since launching in 2016, over 225,000 taps have been installed across India, Malaysia, UAE, and Bangladesh, saving an estimated 20 lakh liters of water daily in public spaces like mosques, temples, and schools.

The initiative which costs just Rs. 150-200 per tap, has received widespread media recognition for its eco-friendly impact. This is a Not for profit initiative by them.
